- Spatone® Liquid Iron is a naturally occurring iron supplement sourced directly from Snowdonia National Park in Wales, United Kingdom, known for its high-quality minerals.
- Despite the importance of iron in maintaining good health, our bodies have difficulty absorbing it, making supplementation necessary.
- With a bioavailability of around 40%, Spatone® provides significantly more absorbable iron compared to food sources (5-10%) or conventional supplements (3-10%). This minimizes unabsorbed iron in the intestines, reducing constipation and stomach irritation.
- For pregnant women who may require higher iron intake, Spatone® is a suitable option that has been endorsed by the Vegetarian Society.
Ingredients: Natural iron rich mineral water containing Iron 5mg in the form of ferrous sulphate.
Directions:
- Add to your favourite drink or take straight from the sachet. It’s ideally taken on an empty stomach in the morning.
- It’s best to leave a 30 – 45 min gap before eating or drinking if you are taking it between meals.
- Spatone Apple tastes great on its own and has added Vitamin C, which increases iron absorption.
- For adults and children over 2 years, take one sachet daily.
- During pregnancy you can take up to two sachets per day to maintain your iron levels. Either take them together or have one in the morning and one in the evening.
