  • Ginkgo biloba is an herb used to treat altitude sickness (prevention), cerebral vascular insufficiency, cognitive disorders, dementia, dizziness/vertigo, intermittent claudication, macular degeneration/glaucoma, memory loss, premenstrual syndrome, SSRI-induced sexual dysfunction, and as a vasodilator.
  • There is no standard dose of ginkgo biloba supplements. However, in medical studies, almost all clinical trials have used a standardized extract of ginkgo, standardized to 24% flavone glycosides and 6% terpene lactones.
  • Simplicity at its best is what a tincture offers you.
  • Concentrated herbal extracts are achieved by different parts of the plant being soaked in ethanol in order to draw out the active ingredients of the herb.
  • Tinctures are fast acting as they are absorbed directly by mucous membranes.
  • It enters the blood stream thus bypassing the digestive tract and liver, making it easy for those who shy away from bulky, hard to swallow tablets.
