- Chaste Tree Berry Extract (Vitex agnus castus) inhibits prolactin release from the anterior pituitary and promotes progesterone's effects.
- When used for extended periods of time, Vitex can normalise menstrual cycle regularity. Vitex has been successfully used to alleviate conditions that cause Hypermenorrhea (excessive uterine bleeding), Polymenorrhea (abnormally frequent menstruation), PMS, and Acne that often result from excessive levels of estrogen.
- Dong Quai Root Powder (Angelica sinensis) has been shown to coordinate uterine contractions and thereby alleviate Dysmenorrhea. Dong Quai also alleviates Amenorrhea and Pre-Menstrual Syndrome.
- Red Clover Extract (Trifoliium pretense) has been shown in research to offer cancer protection.
